What Changed in July 2024

This month we had a big shakeout in the Tech market, so much so that many of the stocks I trend follow broke through my ATR-based volatility stop loss level. This ATR-based stop is a trailing stop loss that adjusts higher as the stock moves higher. It never goes down and when it crosses this price level, I sell.

That's exactly what happened to my Marriott (MAR), Facebook (META), Semiconductor ETF (SMH), Microsoft (MSFT), and Technology ETF (XLK) positions.
