Kubernetes & Julia Language

I’m coming up on my 3rd anniversary at H2O.ai and we’ve embarked on an interesting pivot of sorts. Our new product is based on Kubernetes. At first I thought Kubernetes is just another buzz word and a way for the Cloud providers to extract more money from users, but I’ve come to realize that it’s not. Of course, there are pros and cons with Kuberentes, it’s new and isn’t widely adopted by organizations as of yet, but it’s neat from a container isolation and scalablity standpoint. You build you container, attach an instance, and your off to the races. You might ask, “doesn’t Docker do that too?” That answer is sort of, both are open source but Kubernetes scales across clusters. Docker runs on a single node. ...

Learn RapidMiner Livestream Volume 1

I had my first YouTube LiveStream on how to use RapidMiner. It’s about 48 minutes long and I do a GUI overview and do some text mining. I even answer a few questions on using PHP and RapidMiner. The audio starts about 3 minutes in. I’m scheduling the next one tenatively for Friday 5/11 at 8 AM EDT (New York time). ...

Stacking Models For Improved Predictions

Stacking models is a great technique for squeezing out more performance. First, let me describe what I mean by stacking. Rebuilding a Blog - Part 4

This post on rebuilding a blog is continuation of my previous post. In this post I wanted to review some goals I created in Google Analytics. These goals were created to see how people are interacting with my site. ##Goals I created a total of 7 goals: Sticky Time, how many readers stay on the site for 5 minutes or more Read more that 1 post, self explanatory Click on SEO tag, how many readers click on https://www.neuralmarkettrends.com/tags/SEO Click on Tutorials tag, how many readers click on https://www.neuralmarkettrends.com/tags/Tutorials Click on All tags, this one is bunk so ignore it. Click on RSS feed, how many users click on the RSS feed link Use the search, how many readers use the search box The chart shows some interesting results. I have any amazing amount of sticky time and people read more than 1 post. This makes me think I should abandon Google Ads and sell some space on my own. ...

Rebuilding a Blog - Part 3

Description: In this post I review how traffic in August 2016 stacked up against August 2015 This post on rebuilding a blog is continuation of my previous post. My new SEO strategy is starting to pay off and I owe it all to tweaking the Blot.IM templates. I spent time changing the templates for better metadata and tag handling, and it appears to be working. The biggest results is that my bounce rate has dropped massively. ...

Rebuilding a Blog - Part 2

What’s not surprising is that my readers come from all over the world. The map below are where they came from in the first half of 2016. The majority of them came from the USA, followed by Europe, and then Asia. This does not come as a surprise and makes complete sense because the users were searching for RapidMiner Tutorials. As a continuation to my previous post, I’m still sleuthing through my Google Analytics data trying to understand what is happening and why. Mostly I want to figure out a strategy so I can succeed in my “roll of film quest” but if yesterday’s post was an indicator, my quest is off to a rough start! ...

Woah! This is the 404 page!

Hi Friends! I did a lot of cleaning on this site and there might be broken links, images, and downloads. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist and I would start by using the Google Search function below. If that doesn’t work, reach out to me. Thanks!
