While this is good news, the charts are showing that Gold is making ‘lower highs, and ‘lower lows’ on the weekly charts and Silver appears to be in a range. Still, this up movement was welcome news for the Silverbugs who are hoping for a $30/oz Christmas. Gold closed at $1,885.69, up 2.49% for the week, where Silver closed at $25.94, up 7.94%! ...

2020! What a crazy year! We had the Covid19 pandemic, major economic shocks, two big IPO’s in the immediate ‘AI’ space, and lots of new machine learning libraries and innovation. Right now there are so many startups in so many different niche markets or services that it’s hard to count. I’ll highlight the ones that I stumbled across. First is Spell.ml. A buddy of mine ended up there and clued me into what they do. They help manage, spin up, and allocate machine learning instances via a Python library. They seem to operate in the ML Ops part of ML pipeline as well and remind me a lot of H2O’s Puddle product. Managing your cloud instances is something that’s sorely needed, especially if you ever left a large instance ‘on’ and had to pay big money. ...

Gold and Silver prices closed mixed this week with Gold edging out a slight gain and Silver closing a touch lower. Both prices experienced very volatile price swings throughout the week with Gold closing to $1,839.80 (+0.02%) and Silver to $24.03 (-0.07%). Gold Chart Gold had a very volatile week as is evident by the long legged doji of this week’s price action. This signals market consolidation or general indecision at which way prices should move. Our models point to downward price pressures and our forecast for Gold next week is a lower close to the $1,829.05 level. It’s quite possible that Gold could end the year closer to the $1,800 level than the $2,000 level. Long term forecasts for Gold point to higher prices but with larger price swings in the short term. ...

It’s Saturday, November 28, 2020 and this is your week’s gold and silver market report. Gold and Silver prices were clobbered this holiday week as more money poured out of the metals and into Stocks. Gold closed lower for the week to $1,788.09, down a whopping -4.51%. Silver took a nosedive down to $22.63, down -7.06%. The run ups in prices appear to be over with many Silverbugs trapped at higher prices. We expect downward price pressures to remain through the end of the year as weak hands get flushed out. ...

I travel a lot for work, or rather I used to until Covid19 hit. My last work related trip was to Florida to a convention on Robotic Process Automation (RPA). I stayed in a beautiful Hilton Hotel near a marina with a great resturant and bar. I’ve been a long time Hilton Honors member and use the AMEX credit card a lot to gain points, status, and rewards. My Hilton Honors came in handy when my family and I were stranded overnight in Miami because flights were cancelled due to a nasty storm. I was able to secure a hotel room on short notice that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg for all of us. ...

I invested in Terra Tech Corp (TRTC) back in January 2018. Marijuana / Cannabis type stocks were making big moves back then and this company looked like it would capitalize on it. At the time it was trading around the $4 to $5 range and I picked up 200+ shares of it for about $4.82. Since then I watched it do a reverse stock split and get put on the Pink Sheets. I should’ve sold but I felt that pot stocks are a long term play as America finally get’s their shit together and legalizes it. Still, it hurts a little watching this stock slip into oblivion.
